Latin American and Caribbean Studies Certificate
The University of South Florida offers students the opportunity to earn a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. This certificate provides students with the chance to gain knowledge of the complex and diverse Latin American and Caribbean region through course study, lectures from distinguished writer and scholars and travel to various locations under the Study Abroad credit course. The certificate can be applied to up to 12 hours of credit toward their graduate degree.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 minimum university G.P.A.
Requirements for International Students
- TOEFL test score 550 written or 79 online (Required if English is not native language)
- Proof of degree equivalent to U.S. bachelor’s degree
In addition to submitting an application, students must send an official transcript, résumé and 250-word letter explaining their interest in pursuing the certificate.
